Marché Distribution (“Marché,” “we”) operates the marchedistribution.com website and the Marché Distribution Console, an operations platform for Amazon accounts. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, how it is protected, with whom it is shared, and when it is deleted.
Marché Distribution is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
1. Visitors to this site
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, company name, and message. We use this information solely to respond to you and to follow up on your request.
Our web host maintains standard technical logs—IP address, browser type, pages viewed—which are retained for up to twelve months and used for security and troubleshooting purposes.
We do not use advertising tracking cookies, and we do not sell any information.
2. Our customers' Amazon account information
This section is intended for our clients under management agreements rather than visitors to this site.
What We're Reading
When a sales partner grants us permission, the Console retrieves the following data from their Amazon account: the catalog and product listings, the health status of the listings and the account, inventory, orders, sales, traffic and conversion reports, prices and Buy Box position, as well as financial transactions and payments.
What We Don't Read
We do not request any roles that provide access to buyers' personal information—including names, addresses, contact information, or payment details. The roles we hold do not expose this information.
Why
Solely to provide the management and analysis services agreed upon with the client who has authorized us. We do not use a client’s data for any other client, for our own distribution activities, or to train models, nor do we aggregate data across clients.
How They Are Protected
- Amazon authorization tokens are encrypted at rest; short-lived access tokens are never stored.
- All communications are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Each customer's data is isolated by the application's access layer.
- Staff access is granted based on role and limited to what is strictly necessary.
- The values of the identifiers are never logged, returned, or displayed.
- Entries related to Amazon are recorded along with their author, content, and previous value.
With whom they are shared
With no one, except our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, message queues) acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality agreements, and when required by law. We do not sell or rent any customer account data.
How long do we keep them?
For the duration of the agreement, plus the period necessary to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Historical performance data is retained to enable comparisons over time, which is the very purpose of the service.
What happens at the end
Upon revocation of the authorization or termination of the agreement, we destroy the Amazon identifiers stored for that account. Operational data is deleted upon the customer’s request within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Revocation
A customer can revoke our access at any time through their own Seller Central, without notifying us. Access is revoked immediately.
3. Compliance
We adhere to Amazon ’s Data Protection Policy, its Acceptable Use Policy, andthe Solution Provider Portal agreement. We comply with Quebec’s Act 25 (Act to Modernize Legislative Provisions Regarding the Protection of Personal Information) and the federal PIPEDA.
4. Your Rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction, deletion, or portability, and withdraw your consent. Please write to the address below; we will respond within 30 days.
