Console Distribution Market

Dominate the online distribution market

The Marché Distribution Console is the operational platform that Marché Distribution uses to manage the Amazon accounts of the brands that entrust us with their online distribution.

What It Is

The Console connects directly to each authorized customer’s Amazon Seller Central account and brings together in one place what was previously scattered across Seller Central, spreadsheets, and third-party tools: the catalog, product listings and their health status, inventory, orders, sales, Buy Box status, account performance, as well as Amazon’s traffic and conversion reports.

She doesn't just read. An operator can edit a product listing, adjust a price, or schedule a change for a future date, and every change is recorded, verified with Amazon, and traceable to the person who made it.

Who It's For

The Console is used by the Market Distribution team on behalf of brands under a management agreement. Customers do not have accounts and do not host anything: they purchase the service, not the software. What they grant is an Amazon authorization—which can be revoked at any time through their own Seller Central.

A brand that wishes to use its own copy of the Console may do so: the platform is designed to be linked to a single customer’s Amazon credentials and transferred. This is a separate agreement, described on the Pricing page.

What She Does

Catalog and Product Sheets

The complete Amazon catalog for each account, including the title, bullet points, description, images, and attributes that were actually published. The status of each listing—deleted, failed, incomplete, restricted—becomes a to-do list rather than a discovery.

Inventory and Coverage

Inventory by marketplace, including the number of days of coverage, so that a stockout is visible before Amazon pauses the ad supporting it.

Orders, Sales, and Conversion

Orders and sales at the product and listing levels, along with sessions, page views, and conversion rates from Amazon reports. This is where you can determine the answer to the question, “Why is this product’s sales declining?”: fewer visitors, or the same number of visitors buying less.

Price and Buy Box

The Buy Box position for each product listing, competitive pricing, and the ability to change a price immediately or schedule a change—a promotion that starts and ends on time, without anyone having to be in front of the screen.

Account Health

The account status for each customer, and an alert on the day it changes from "normal" to "at risk," rather than a week later.

Financial Reconciliation

Amazon's transactions, fees, and payments, reconciled with sales, so that a product's actual margin is a fact rather than an estimate.

Alerts

A notification when a product listing is deleted, when the Buy Box is lost for a key product, when inventory falls below the coverage threshold, or when the account status changes. Alerts are sent to the person responsible for the account and can be configured on a per-account basis.

Log and Approvals

Each transaction records who made it, what changed, and what the previous value was. Certain types of changes require approval before they can be implemented, so a price change for a flagship product cannot go through without review.

The Amazon access permissions required for this

The Console requests only the roles necessary for the functions listed above. None of these roles provide access to buyers' personal information, and we do not request any roles that would do so.

Ad management is integrated separately with the Amazon Ads API and has its own authorization process. A customer who grants one does not grant the other, and both consent screens make this clear.

How a customer logs in

  1. We send the customer a one-time authorization link.
  2. The customer logs in to their own Seller Central and sees Amazon's consent screen, which lists the app and the requested access permissions.
  3. The customer approves. Amazon sends us a refresh token, which we encrypt at rest.
  4. All brands under this account automatically appear in the Console.

The customer can revoke authorization at any time through Seller Central without notifying us. At the end of an agreement, we destroy all stored credentials for that account and can provide proof of this.

Data Security and Processing

  • Amazon refresh tokens and any client secrets are encrypted at rest using a key provided by the runtime environment and are never hard-coded.
  • The values of the identifiers are never logged, never returned by a programming interface, and never displayed —only their presence and their last four characters are recorded.
  • All communications are transmitted via HTTPS/TLS.
  • Each customer's data is isolated: each request is restricted to the relevant account by the access layer, not by convention.
  • Staff access is assigned by role, distinguishing between those who can view, those who can take action, and those who can approve.
  • We comply with Amazon’s Data Protection Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and the Solution Provider Portal Agreement.

Full details can be found on the Privacy Policy page.

Project Status

The Console is currently under active development. The architecture, data model, and user interfaces have been specified and approved. Deployment to the first accounts is scheduled to take place within 90 days of granting access to the Selling Partner API —this access is the final remaining dependency.
